On their YouTube channel, Samsung Taiwan has released a teaser video that portrays a very interesting new smartphone with the metal cover.
“Just fit, just fast, just elegant, just simple, and just for you” are some of the phrases that Samsung uses to describe their next flagship model, alluding to the letter J! If you pause the video on 0:08 you will notice a new detail: SC-02F. What smartphone they refer to? Samsung Galaxy J, of course! This Samsung device with Android 4.3 is at the moment marketed exclusively in Japan with the operator NTT Docomo.
What we found out by watching this video is that the next Samsung smartphone will be simple, elegant and fast. Leaving aside the first two adjectives that refer its form and aesthetics, we had to focus on the third mentioned since it informs us of the presence of LTE connectivity. What else do we know about this smartphone from Samsung? It comes with a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 pixels, Gorilla Glass 3, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.2 GHz, and Adreno 330 GPU. Galaxy J has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage capacity and it supports both, LTE and LTE-A connectivity. The device is powered with a removable 2600 mAh battery, and on the back there is a 20-mega-pixel main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). In terms of its specifications, it is said that Galaxy J is a perfect mix of Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3! Check out the video teaser:
Another interesting detail of the video is that on 0:04, Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch appears showing the today’s date: December 9, 2013, 13:00. Will Samsung surprise us with the new smartphone today?
