Last week, Apple released its brand new smartphones, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, as well as the much-awaited Apple Watch. Naturally, the devices received both a lot of praise and criticism, and the comments about them vary – from the new iPhone looking like an Android phone from 2012, to it being the “next big thing”. The bigger iPhone 6 Plus left Apple’s competitor, Samsung, kind of angry, and the company didn’t waste time to create a set of ads mocking the new iPhone.
Right after the release of the new iPhone, Samsung put out six videos titled “It doesn’t take a genius”, showing two guys dressed like Apple’s staff at an Apple Store. They lampoon the lack of multitasking on the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, the absence of fast charging, the introduction of a bigger screen etc. You can check out one of these below.
