The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be presented at an unveiling event on August 23 in New York City, Samsung confirmed.
Samsung has ‘accidentally‘ leaked the design of the phablet through their Exynos account. Here’s the concept image:
What Do We Know About It so Far?
The Note 8 is going to be the biggest and most expensive Samsung smartphone ever built. The South-Korean manufacturer hasn’t confirmed the specifications yet, but the leaks are more and more reliable.
Compared to the Galaxy S8, the Note 8 will have an even larger edge-to-edge “Infinity Display” and a screen of 6.3″. The device will be powered by the Exynos 8895, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. As shown in the picture above, it might come with a stylus, the S pen.
Smart assistant Bixby and water-resistance are some natural assumptions. It will be available in four colours, blue, black, gold and silver.
It should have a dual back camera sensor of 12MP. The fingerprint reader will find its place on the back of the phone. The operating system is most likely to be Android O. A battery capacity of 3300 mAh will be more than enough, and we keep our fingers crossed that the Note 7 scenario is never repeated. If you recall, the company was forced to recall the devices from the market because of its batteries overheating.
