CES 2015 is exactly a month away, and we expect to see a lot of new tech there from all the major manufacturers and companies. Following Sony, Samsung officially announced its own CES 2015 event, which will be held on January 5.
Samsung is expected to introduce a range of new products during CES, from a new line of 4K TV sets to new tablets, as well as a number of new home appliances. Some say that we’ll get to see new Galaxy Pro tablets and laptops, which would be fantastic, but what most really want to see is an update to Samsung’s smartwatch and fitness tracker line. It would also be fantastic to learn more about Gear VR. What we don’t really expect to see is the Galaxy S6 – we believe the South Korean giant will announce its next flagship during the Mobile World Congress 2015.
Samsung’s press conference will start at 2 PM (10 PM GMT), and it will be followed by a keynote speech at 6:30 PM (2:30 AM GMT). Samsung’s president and CEO, BK Yoon, will discuss the “Internet of Things” during the event and “how it will transform our lives”.
LG and Sony will also hold their events on the same day as Samsung, so it will definitely be interesting to what they all have in store for us.
What are you most excited to see at CES 2015?
