Nokia, the world’s top Mobile Phone brand manufacturer, has decided to delay the launch of its flagship N8 model. Nokia N8 is seen by analysts as Nokia’s first top-range smartphone to challenge iPhone more than three years after its launch and hot on the heels of the launch of iPhone 4. Its success is seen as being crucial for Nokia.
“To ensure a great user experience, we have decided to hold the shipments for a few weeks to do some final amends,” the company said in a statement, adding that the N8 would reach consumers in October.
Nokia N8 stands out for its 12 megapixel camera but has a slower processor than Samsung I9000 Galaxy S and the latest iPhone. N8 is the first mobile phone to use Nokia’s new Symbian software, and it was was originally scheduled to reach consumers in June.
