A Camera with a Four-Colour RGBW Sensor
This is a pretty big deal, since most cameras only have a tri-colour sensor. The Huawei P8’s camera promises improved contrast and exposure, reduced noise in low-light conditions, and natural colours. Like the majority of flagship devices out there, the P8 comes with OIS, but also with anti-shake tech which makes videos and low-light photos look smoother. The P8 boasts a special director video mode and a selfie mode, too, and allows you to take a screenshot and crop a photo using your knuckle.
New Android Features, Prices, and Availability
Thanks to the company’s Emotion UI, you can change the theme on your phone any time you want. Another new addition is the voice wake up feature that can help you find your phone more quickly. For example, you can ask your phone “Where are you?” and it will respond “I’m here”.
Both the P8 and the P8 Max will launch in 30 markets first, including the UK, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, and UAE. After that, the phones will arrive to 100 markets more.
