Four phone accessories is all you need to stay organized!
With so many interesting gadgets and accessories on the market at the moment, we understand that it can sometimes get hard to make a difference between those that you really need and those that you liked and bought just for the sake of it. You walk into a store set on buying a new case for your phone, and walk out with a pair of speakers, a Bluetooth accessory, three new covers, and a car holder. Who knows, you might need it?
If you want to keep your life organized and accessories down to a minimum, then you need five of them tops. Here’s what we think are the most essential accessories for every smartphone user out there. 🙂
A lot of smartphone owners feel that cases aren’t that necessary, especially because they might interfere with the look of their shiny phones. However, once you drop your phone (and, sadly, it will happen at one point or another), you will change your mind quickly – we did.
Even though a case can make your phone look more elegant or trendy, its most important function is to keep it safe from everyday damage – scratches, dust, bumps, etc. If you don’t want an intricate pattern or a colourful design, you can opt for a simple, minimalist even, protective accessory.
2. Screen Protector
If applied properly, these thin shields can make a world of difference for your phone. You usually get a couple of them in a package, they are most often inexpensive, and will last you from six months to a year.
You can pick out a screen protector that works best for you – anti-glare, clear, tempered glass, privacy screen protector, etc. There are those specifically designed to keep your phone scratch-free, as well as those that use advanced nanotechnology.
3. External Battery or Car Charger
Whether you decide to get a power bank or a car charger depends on how much you use your car to go places. If it’s your main form of transportation, then a decent car charger presents a good investment. Whenever you get stuck in traffic, you can be sure that your phone will stay charged up.
On the other hand, if you don’t drive regularly, then a better idea is a backup battery. You can either get a battery case or a power bank – either way, when your phone’s battery is about to give out, plug it into the battery, and juice it up.
Right now, everyone’s used to listening to their favourite tunes on their phones. This is why all phones nowadays come with a pair of earbuds, which, okay, can be useful, but if you want a better listening experience, then we suggest you get a nice pair of headphones. It can be a cheaper version or a high-end one (e.g. Beats by Dr Dre), and you need to decide whether you want over-the-head, behind-the-ear, in-ear, noise-cancelling or another model.
That’s basically all you need for you and your smartphone to function without a hitch on a daily basis. 🙂 What we’d also suggest is that you get a cleaning cloth and a cleaning solution – you know as well as we do that smartphones house a number of germs and bacteria, which is why it’s of utmost importance to keep it as clean as possible.
